AreaRAE and AreaRAE Gamma (Model PGM-5020 & PGM 5120)


Compact and Easily Transportable Multi-Gas Monitor: Standalone or Remote Wireless Operation


The AreaRAE is a one-to-five sensor gas detector equipped with an optional built-in wireless, RF (radio frequency) modem that allows the unit to communicate and transmit readings and other information on a real-time basis with a remotely located base controller.


It is a multi-sensor instrument that can include a Photoionization detector (PID) for parts-per-million measurement of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), a Gamma radiation detector, an LEL, O2 sensor and up to two electrochemical toxic gas sensors for measurement of specific toxic substances such as CO and H2S.


AreaRAE is approved for use in hazardous environments. A personal computer running ProRAE Guardian software can be used to view real-time readings from up to 32 remotely located AreaRAE detectors and up to 512 using the internet.


AreaRAE monitors can be equipped with optional GPS capability allowing users to know the exact location of the monitor.
