The RAELink3 Z1 Mesh modem connects RAE Systems and approved third-party portable gas monitors to the ProRAE Guardian Real-Time Wireless Safety System that delivers commanders remote access to real-time threat data for better visibility and faster incident response. Monitors can be connected to a RAELink3 Z1 Mesh modem wirelessly or with a cable to communicate sensor readings, alarm status and GPS coordinates to the command center up to 2 mi (3 km) away. RAELink 3 Z1 Mesh' ability to support multiple monitors at the same time provides a more cost-effective solution requiring fewer modems to be used by responder teams, and reduces the number of items responders have to carry downrange.
